Annual Children's Torah and Ice Cream Rally The entire community is invited to attend the Annual Children's Torah and Ice Cream Rally on the first day of the Jewish Holiday of Shavuot - Sunday, May 20 at 4:30pm at Congregation Ohav Emeth, 415 Raritan Ave. in Highland Park. Co-sponsored by both Chabad House at Rutgers and Congregation Ohav Emeth, the children’s program will feature an exciting introduction by Rabbi Eliyahu Dovid Kaufman, the spiritual leader of Cong. Ohav Emeth,  the public reading of  Ten Commandments read from a Sefer Torah scroll, a lively children's Torah rally with the singing of Torah pesukim and songs, story telling, an Ice Cream Sundae Bar with both dairy and non-dairy ice creams and toppings, and a fun Shavuot magic show! The program is free of charge for all children ages 1-120. Rabbi Baruch Goodman, Campus Director of Chabad House, commented, “Let's gather together and hear the Ten Commandments just like we did 3,330 years ago at the foot of Mt. Sinai as one person with one heart!  We hope that this special children’s program will inspire all participants to receive the Torah anew this year with great simcha, enthusiasm and inner meaning.”
